See you soon

Well, it's high time to say goodbye... I don't know yet if I'll teach you again next year. If I do, be sure I'll film your speaking activities ( They were fun, weren´t they?). You have been a very nice class, very talkative, always participating and very interested in "Friends", the TV series... You can watch some vids on Youtube if you are bored to death. Let me recommend you some: Outnumbered, the Fonejacker, the IT Crowd, Black Books, Alan Partridge, well these are my favourites. Have fun this summer and enjoy these months without school!

SMILE FOR PAULA!

COLABORAD, PLEASE.

Help!

Help them! They've worked a lot and they're the best so please....click on 5 estrellitas. Thanks to everybody in the French class and the French teacher too. X

Where is my abode?

Progeria, a very unusual disease

"Hayley Okines is a fourteen-year-old girl who has a 100-year-old body"...the headline was a bit shocking . There are many weird and unusual diseases, but I had never heard about "progeria" before until I read this article/watched the video.

She has written a book about her story, called " Old Before My Time".

It's great to see mum and daughter fighting together and it is greater to see Hayley smiling all the time.

Looking forward to buying it!

Get gourgeous in a flash!

I was bored stiff surfing the internet when I bumped into this great blog. It reminded me of my female students ( 3º, 4º, bachillerato...) who are very concerned about their appearance ( a bit vain, I think that's the word). The girl from the blog will teach you through videos and show you a lot of beautiful, different hairstyles...Some seem very easy. I'll try some one day.

Oh, before starting...it's in English (haha,it's like killing two birds with one stone, isn't it?)

If you need a hair straightener you know where you have to go, don't you? ( a bit of free ad there!)

Byeeee

The Norman Conquest ( 1066)

England suffered many invasions: the Romans, the Vikings, the Anglosaxons...The last one was in 1066. It took place in Hastings, the place where some of you are going with me in April.
I have looked for some videos to show you some History about this country.

The video talks about the new Norman king, William the Conqueror, who built the Tower of London (near the famous London Bridge).
If we happen to visit it, you must know the Tower was a prison where Henry VIII's second wife was beheaded (under his order) among others. It also keeps the Crown Jewels.

You can see the Beefeaters outside...legend has it that they were called like that because they were given "beef" to eat.
Watch the video about the battle and the other one about the town...Bye!

I don't believe my eyes!! Have a look at the video about a man who has lived without any food or water for 70 years!!Could that be true? Mind games!
