4th . Homework 23rd March

Hi! Are you ok? As I told you the other day, today we were going to turn direct questions into Indirect Speech. If you copied the whole grammar the other day, that's fine. If you didn't, write down the aprt where I talk about questions. Once finished, turn the following sentences into Indirect Speech.


REPORTED SPEECH- QUESTIONS


      1)      “ When was your mother robbed?”, the officer asked Sam.
      2)      “What colour is your new car?”, Tom asked Bob.
3)      “What are you looking for under my table now?”, the boss asked Tim.
4)      “How did you try to cope with this problema?”, the psychologist asked Susan.
5)      “ Where are my new slippers, children?”, Mum asked.
6)      “How many apples have you eaten today?”, Alan asked Paul.
7)      “When did you lose my telephone number, Jim?”, she asked.
8)      “ How often do you clean your teeth a day?”, mum asked Peter.
9)      “Who will you take to the hospital tomorrow, dad?”, Ann asked.
10)   “What is this scar in your face?”, the teacher asked Pablo.
11)   “Why are you so sad, Ann?”, grandma asked.
12)   “Why are you wearing this awful tracksuit?”, the PE teacher asked Hellen.
13)   “What did you do with all these broken plates?”, mum asked us.
14)   “ Why isn’t there any coffee for me, Peter?”, Peter’s wife asked him.
15)   “How long have you waited for me?”, the teacher asked Mr Smith.
16)   “How can I get there in this storm?, he wondered.
17)   “ Where did you enjoy yourselves?”, mum wondered.
18)   “ Are you going to the gym next week?”, he wanted to know.
19)   “ Will these exercises be difficult for our brains?”, the students wondered.
20)   “ Are you tired of doing 20 sentences?”, the teacher asked them.
